JEPI Open Access and Author Fee Announcement

The Journal of Education, Psychology and Inclusion (JEPI) follows an immediate open-access publishing model. All articles published by the journal are made freely available to readers through the journal website without subscription, registration, access charges or embargo periods.

JEPI supports open access because the unrestricted availability of scholarly work can strengthen research visibility, academic exchange, professional practice, policymaking and public engagement. This is particularly important for researchers, educators, practitioners, students and institutions that may have limited access to subscription-based scholarly resources.

Authors retain copyright in their published work and grant JEPI the non-exclusive right of first publication. Unless otherwise stated, articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International Licence, CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.

Under this licence, readers may copy and redistribute the unmodified work in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author or authors and the journal, a link to the licence is supplied and no suggestion of endorsement is made. Adaptation, modification and commercial use require separate permission from the copyright holder.

JEPI currently does not charge any submission fee, editorial-processing fee, article processing charge, publication fee, page charge, colour charge or other compulsory author fee. Authors may submit manuscripts, participate in peer review and publish accepted articles without payment under the journal’s present fee policy.

The absence of author fees does not affect editorial standards or publication decisions. Manuscripts are assessed solely according to their relevance to the journal, originality, scholarly quality, methodological rigour, ethical compliance, clarity and contribution to education, psychology, inclusion or related interdisciplinary fields.

Editors and reviewers are not influenced by an author’s financial circumstances. Payment will never guarantee acceptance, favourable review, accelerated processing, publication or indexing.

JEPI may review its financial model in the future to support platform maintenance, digital preservation, DOI registration, editorial administration, production and related publishing services. No fee will be introduced without prior publication of a revised policy stating the amount, currency, services covered, applicable waivers, payment stage and effective date.
